The Case for Small & Mid Cap Opportunities in 2025

two investors reviewing data on paper

In a market heavily dominated by the "Magnificent Seven" tech giants, the small and mid-cap sector may hold the key to new opportunities for investors. Tom Maher, Hilton’s Small & Mid Cap Opportunities portfolio manager, highlights the potential of this often-overlooked asset class in a video discussion on “UBS Trending.”

As the market prepares for potential shifts in 2025, Maher suggests that investors should pay closer attention to smaller companies trading at attractive valuations.

"Small and mid-cap stocks represent a 'somewhat forgotten asset class' with meaningful potential, in areas like reshoring, U.S. manufacturing growth, and more,” Maher shares.

Watch the full discussion to learn why 2025 could be their breakout year.
